The bomb cyclone took is fury trough South Carolina to Maine.  It brought hurricane-force winds and up to 18 inches of snow fall.  There was a ton of damage done including:

-Nearly 5,000 flights were cancelled due to the storm and New York City's JFK and La Guardia airports were shut down.

-More than 45,000 people were reportedly without electricity

-In New York City, Mayor Bill DeBlasio declared a state of emergency and urged people to stay off the roads. "Everyone should take this one very seriously,” he said at a press conference Thursday afternoon.

-The snow even reached underground subway stations.

-There was major flooding in Boston causing big dumpsters to float down the street.

This is a reminder to still be cautious when driving on the roads.  Although the snow has stopped, the temperatures have plummeted causing severe freezing of the roads.  Be careful out there!
