Researchers found that daily coffee drinkers were up to 18 percent less likely to die over the next 10 to 16 years, versus non-drinkers. The findings were based on over 700,000 middle-aged and older adults.
Previous studies have already tied the habit to lower risks of various diseases -- from heart disease and type 2 diabetes, to liver cancer, to neurological diseases like Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis.
Although it isn't certain if drinking coffee is truly beneficial, its good to know that you aren't harming your body with your consumption.
