There is currently no cure for hemophilia. There are very effective treatments available in the US,

but they may require lifelong infusion of expensive drugs that are manufactured from human plasma or through recombinant biotechnology.

Hemophilia is the condition in which blood cannot clot properly.  This can cause victims to bleed profusely from the slightest cuts. The condition is typically caused by a hereditary lack of a coagulation factor, most often factor VIII.

Signs and symptoms of hemophilia vary, depending on your level of clotting factors. If your clotting-factor level is mildly reduced, you may bleed only after surgery or trauma. If your deficiency is severe, you may experience spontaneous bleeding.

Signs and symptoms of spontaneous bleeding include:

Unexplained and excessive bleeding from cuts or injuries, or after surgery or dental work

Many large or deep bruises

Unusual bleeding after vaccinations

Pain, swelling or tightness in your joints

Blood in your urine or stool

Nosebleeds without a known cause

In infants, unexplained irritability

Consult your doctor about ways to deal with hemophilia.  Living a healthy life style will greatly benefit you when struggling with hemophilia.
