The Norovirus is spreading through the Olympics like wildfire.  There are a total of 177 cases of the norovirus in South Korea.

Organizers have quarantined at least 1,200 Olympic staffers.  Thankfully, no athletes have been infected. But, that does not mean that are not taking precautions.

What is norovirus? It is a virus that can be consumed through the mouth. It causes nausea, inflammation of the stomach and intestines, stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea.  It spreads just like the flu virus does.

There is no vaccine to prevent the norovirus. This means you should take pre cautions to stop the spreading of the virus. Wash your hands, clean all surfaces infected, and stay clear of people until you are recovered.
